Birdscroft Nursing Home

Birdscroft Nursing Home is located on a private road in Ashtead, and we are proud to offer a variety of services to our residents including nursing, dementia and respite care. Our home is situated within close proximity to Epsom Downs, Ashtead and Leatherhead, with easy access from the M25, making it easily accessible for family and friends to visit their loved ones.

Our spacious main house boasts two pleasant lounges that create a peaceful and relaxing environment, overlooking our beautiful garden. We offer single bedrooms, with the vast majority equipped with en-suite facilities and/or wet rooms. We encourage our residents to personalise their rooms with their own furnishings to create a homely atmosphere.

At Birdscroft Nursing Home, we have a team of dedicated staff who strive to maintain each resident’s dignity and provide a high quality of life in a calm and personalised environment. Our staff takes the time to understand each resident’s individual needs and build a personal relationship with them. With comprehensive care assessments, regular monitoring and reviews, we aim to provide the highest standard of care.

Our dedicated activity co-ordinators run regular varied programmes that cater to all tastes, such as learning about the internet, visiting local sites or simply enjoying a walk. Our staff make every effort to help residents continue with their own hobbies and interests or to take up something new. We also have video conferencing and social messaging facilities, so residents can easily contact their relatives.

Meals are freshly prepared in-house, paying special attention to each resident’s dietary requirements. We also regularly invite external health professionals, such as GPs, physiotherapists, dieticians, occupational therapists, chiropodists, dentists, and opticians to visit our home, ensuring that each resident is cared for thoroughly.
